Dive into our process

Logo & Brand Identity
Design Process

Phase 1 - Brand Discovery & Strategy Alignment

“Design is the silent ambassador of your brand.” — Paul Rand We begin by understanding your why.

  • Brand mission, personality, and values
  • Target audience psychology
  • Industry positioning
  • Tone of voice and emotional triggers
  • Naming, tagline, and core messaging (if required)

We use brand archetypes and semantic mapping to clarify the essence of your brand before any design work begins.

Phase 2 - Competitive Audit & Design Language Study

To build a logo that stands apart, we must first understand what surrounds it.

  • Analyze direct & indirect competitors
  • Decode industry design tropes and clichés
  • Identify gaps for distinction

We create a visual audit board showing what to avoid and what to elevate.

Phase 3 - Ideation & Sketch Exploration

This is where logic meets imagination.

  • Begin with pencil + paper
  • Explore typography-driven, icon-based, and abstract directions
  • Iterate using shape psychology (circles = community, triangles = direction, squares = stability)
  • Use golden ratio, grid systems, and negative space as design tools—not gimmicks

No shortcuts. Just design integrity.

Phase 4 - Digital Rendering & Refinement

Best ideas are translated digitally and explored in-depth:

  • Typography pairings (custom or selected typefaces)
  • Color exploration based on color psychology + brand tone
  • Symbol-to-type relationships: monogram, logotype, icon, emblem
  • Greyscale, white-on-dark, and single-color versions tested

All logos are designed with function first: it must work on a pen, a billboard, and a favicon.

Phase 5 - Testing & Mockups

We test logos in real-world contexts, not just show them on white backgrounds.

  • Business cards
  • Website header
  • App icon or favicon
  • Product packaging
  • Social media profiles
  • Email signature

We also test at various scales, from 1cm to 4ft, to ensure clarity, legibility, and impact.
